Gurb

In my town, there is a forest and there is the river Gurb. It is said that people used to swim in the river. Gurb is still part of the territory’s identity, although nowadays, people just stroll down along the little flow leading to the forest.

Each component of the landscape seems perfectly designed; organic, irregular and simple shapes, all at once. One day I thought these forms were free, as they had no function to fulfill; they could be perceived as chairs, or tables, or whatever the imagination proposes. I also thought it beautiful to transfer this freedom to the language of design.

Borrow an element to become an object, and compose a forest at home. I could start with a light stone. Or should it be bigger? Rounded? Flat?
