Fluid identities

Fluid identities explores cultural innovation through taking design as a social practice. In this project, the fluid perspective of materiality seeks to move around different states of categories.

Why climate change needs new narratives? How can emerging materials propose new perspectives on social identities? The research is focused on specific values in materials-making that somehow push limits of cultural categories. Through combining curiosity and processes, the values are introduced into the bread-baking traditional recipe under the concept of “How to not make bread”. An explorarion of how emerging materials can perform the perception of normativity.
